There are many benefits to kids practicing Kids Martial Arts, and our highly experienced instructors are masters at figuring out which ones to emphasize for each child. Kids Martial Arts is not only about kicking and punching. It focuses largely on discipline, tolerance, team work, and building inner strength with a fit and well-toned body.
Regular physical activity can help children and adolescents improve cardiorespiratory fitness, build strong bones and muscles, and control weight. Our Kids Martial Arts program combines a self-defense curriculum along with a rigorous workout that is designed to add strength while improving their cardio fitness. Our classes utilize two types of movement: 1) bodyweight strength exercises and 2) self-defense movements.
